Lacrosse Canada has adopted the World Lacrosse Rule Book for box lacrosse, with some transitional modifications. All officials are required to attend the referee certification clinics to be eligible for officiating in 2026. Along with the rule changes, comes new referee level designations and the simplified definitions are listed below. More information will be posted once it is released from Lacrosse Canada.
LEVELS
D1 - Entry Level and Community Officials - These are officials that referee within our local league.
D2 - Advanced Provincial and National Stream - Certified for Inter-Provincial and National competitions.
D3 - High Performance National and International - The highest level of games, such as Junior and Senior.
CLINICS
D1 - March 28, April 11 and April 12 @ Sport Mantioba from 10-3:30pm
D2/D3 - TBA
REGISTRATION
Should be open Monday, March 9th and referees can choose the best day for them. Lunch will not be provided.
