Officials Clinics


Lacrosse Canada has adopted the World Lacrosse Rule Book for box lacrosse, with some transitional modifications.  All officials are required to attend the referee certification clinics to be eligible for officiating in 2026.  Along with the rule changes, comes new referee level designations and the simplified definitions are listed below.  More information will be posted once it is released from Lacrosse Canada.

LEVELS
D1 - Entry Level and Community Officials - These are officials that referee within our local league.

D2 - Advanced Provincial and National Stream - Eligible for Inter-Provincial and National competitions.

D3 - High Performance National and International - Elite domestic and international competitions, such as Junior A, Senior A, and International competitions.

 

CLINICS

D1:

  • March 28 @ Sport Manitoba from 10am-3:30pm
  • April 11 @ Sport Manitoba from 10am-3:30pm
  • April 12 @ Sport Manitoba from 10am-3:30pm

 

D2

  • March 21 - Invite Only
  • TBA Late April - Invite Only @ Digital

 

D3:

  • March 21 - Invite Only
